Nestled in the rugged beauty of Aberdeenshire, the Knockdhu Distillery has been crafting its signature single malts since 1894, The distillery uses pot stills with distinctive wide shoulders and flat bases, that allow for a unique extraction of oils, resulting in smooth, finely textured whiskies.
Colour: Burnt Amber
Nose: Rich, sugary arrival with hints of demerara sugar, leading to sweet vanilla and a medley of orchard fruits. Notes of dried apricots, ripe Royal Gala apples, and a comforting hint of rich barley sugar.
Palate: A bold, sweet, and sour start with alfalfa honey, subdued by lemon sherbet, evolves into spicy green chillis and gentle smokiness. Sharp lime zest spritzes appear while morish fig jam calms it down.
Finish: A wonderfully long finish starts with rich oak tannins followed by a hint of aromatic cardamom that blends beautifully with lingering smoke. Lemongrass brings a refreshing touch before dark chocolate takes the final act.
A rare expression from Knockdhu Distillery, this 18 Year Old Speyside Single Malt balances gentle peat smoke with rich Oloroso cask influence. Bottled from a single cask, it offers elegant depth, subtle complexity, and a refined smoky richness. ~ R&R

How much is delivery?
Delivery is UK only, by Royal Mail. It is free on orders of £50 or more; below that, the cost is shown at checkout. Collection from Netherfield House is free.
When will it arrive?
We dispatch within 1–2 working days.
Do you deliver outside the UK?
No. We only deliver to UK addresses.
Can I collect?
Yes, free, from Netherfield House, Glassford, Strathaven ML10 6TB. Choose collection at checkout; your order is usually ready within 24 hours. Please bring photo ID.
Returns
You can cancel within 14 days of receiving your order, without giving a reason: email info@thenetherfield.com, then send the bottles back within 14 days. You pay the return postage. We refund the price and the delivery charge you paid, up to the cost of our cheapest standard delivery. If a bottle has been opened, we may reduce the refund, up to the full price of that bottle. If something arrives faulty, damaged or not what you ordered, tell us as soon as you notice it: we refund it in full and cover the cost of sending it back. See our returns policy.
